Ma0 + Alberto Iacovoni
Ma0 (emme a zero) is an Roma architecture studio founded in 1996 by Massimo Ciuffini, Ketty Di Tardo, Alberto Iacovoni and Luca La Torre. The studio has a distinct position at the meeting point of architecture, media and interaction design. Their work is influenced by situationist theory, and the mediation of knowledge between various disciplines. Alberto Iacovoni is one of Italy’s most thoughtful architects who sees the field in open terms. He is the author of “Game Zones: playgrounds between virtual scenarios and reality”, and a member of the ground-breaking and influential “Stalker” group. Ma0 is indicative of Rome’s new architectural culture which is gaining ground as one of the world’s most influential.
